Agri-voltaic technology enables the dual use of agricultural land for crop production and solar power generation. Where land is scarce, it can help meet renewable energy targets while potentially preserving agriculture.
In this project, we study the various considerations affecting the optimal deployment of this technology, and how farmers' perceptions, demand for the technology, and anticipated use of it will be shaped by how public policy for agri-voltaic technologies is designed.
